2025 Art Show

LVAPA is excited to announce a great partnership with ArtsQuest!

Each facility will be able to submit resident artwork to be on display at SteelStacks for an exclusive LVAPA Senior Art Show open to the public.

Now is the time to showcase your residents and your facility!

Who can participate

Members of LVAPA may submit resident artwork to be put on display during our exhibition.  If you are not a member of LVAPA, please contact LVAPA to discuss possible acceptance.

Artwork Guidelines

• Max size per artwork should be 8”x10”, piece can be displayed in either portrait or landscape orientation.
• Acceptable materials would be works on sturdy paper (like a cardstock)/printed photos, canvas boards or stretched canvas.​
• Works do not need to be framed but we may put unframed works on paper in matts before installing to make sure the work is protected while being exhibited​
• ALL pieces must have the participant’s name clearly written or attached on the back of the work, as well as the facility they reside in. We may ask for additional information to be provided, such as artwork information (title, medium, a few sentences about the work if the resident would like to provide it) for making the labels that will go next to each piece. ​

Guidelines for Submitting

• Fill out the form below if your facility is committed to submitting resident artwork (you do not have to have artwork completed or ready, but LVAPA needs to know you are committed to participating)
• Each facility can submit up to 2 pieces of artwork...depending on response more artwork may be able to be submitted. A determination will be made after 8/1 and all facilities will be notified if more artwork is being accepted.
• Artwork must be submitted to LVAPA by Sept 9th.  Drop off location will be at Gracedale in Nazareth or drop off at any LVAPA Meeting!

About the Show

We are excited to announce the exhibition at ArtsQuest at Steelstacks will run from Sept 22 to Oct 24, 2025.  This is open to the public and we encourage all facilities that are able to schedule a time to visit the exhibition and see the talent our seniors have!
We will also be offering a reception, by invitation only, on September 23rd at 4:30pm.
